Who publishes Zeroes Ones and You, what it covers, and the rules it holds itself to.
I am Mario-Celestino Nardelli. I publish Zeroes Ones and You from Italy: a YouTube channel, a written archive, and a small set of free browser tools.
The premise is that most AI coverage fails in one of two directions. One half sells you a future that has not arrived and quietly bills you for it. The other half sells you a catastrophe that has not arrived either, which turns out to be the more profitable of the two. Both are easier to produce than an honest account of what these systems can do this week, and both age badly.
What I try to do instead is narrower and duller: work out what is actually true right now, say so plainly, and be specific about the parts I am unsure of.
What you will find here
Written pieces. Arguments and analysis, usually about where AI capability, policy and incentives actually meet. Some are companions to a video; some exist only here.
Videos. Shorter, faster, and more opinionated, on YouTube.
Tools. Small utilities that solve one specific problem properly. They are free, they run entirely inside your browser, and they are not lead magnets — there is no signup, no email wall and no upgrade tier.
Consulting. If you want help actually putting this technology to work rather than reading about it, that is here.
The rules this site holds itself to
These are constraints rather than marketing. They are written down so they can be checked.
- Tool pages carry nothing. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party embeds. Whatever you type into a tool stays on your machine. This is enforced by the build, not by good intentions.
- No fabricated authority. No invented testimonials, no borrowed credentials, no review scores for things I have not used, no traffic numbers I cannot evidence.
- Uncertainty gets stated. When I am reasoning rather than reporting, I say so. A confident sentence and a verified one are not the same thing, and the difference matters more in this subject than in most.
- Corrections stay visible. If a piece turns out to be wrong, the correction is attached to it rather than quietly overwritten.
- When money is involved, you are told. If a link ever earns me something, it will say so, before you click it, not in a footer.
